Jamar Green is the Vice President Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Fair Lending Compliance Officer of Coastal Heritage Bank. Mr. Green is responsible for overseeing the bank’s CRA strategy and Fair Lending Program, including relationships with key regulators. Mr. Green serves as Co-Chair of the CRA Committee and also serves as a member of the bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Committee. In his capacity, Mr. Green is charged with creating community outreach programs and providing oversight and guidance for managing fair lending risks. Additionally, Mr. Green has developed and implemented a risk-based monitoring program to ensure compliance with CRA and fair lending laws and regulations. As a former state regulator, Mr. Green is skilled in evaluating compliance management systems and mitigating complex compliance challenges. Mr. Green holds a degree in History from the School of Arts from North Carolina Central University. Additionally, he obtained a Certificate of Real Estate Finance from Boston University and attended compliance schools at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), including Consumer Compliance Examination, Fair Lending, and Community Reinvestment Act.
