Nicholas Bulens

Nicholas Bulens, Clerk

A life-long resident of Weymouth, Nicholas Bulens is a grant administrator in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development. He has a professional background in municipal and state government, with a particular interest in creating and enhancing public spaces. Prior to joining the Commonwealth in 2018, Nicholas served for nearly six years as Grant Writer and Administrative Services Coordinator for the Town of Weymouth. He assisted in securing over $19 million in state and federal grants and coordinated multiple planning and capital improvement projects across the community, including development of King Oak Hill Park and Osprey Overlook Park. Since 2017, Nicholas has served as Chair of the Town of Weymouth’s Library Construction Committee, providing public oversight of the design and construction of the new Tufts Library. Nicholas also currently serves on the Weymouth Food Pantry’s Board of Directors and the Town of Weymouth’s Farmers Market Steering Committee.
